Subject Notes:  Winnie the Pooh is an A. A. Milne character that was first animated by Disney artists for Winnie The Pooh And The Honey Tree in 1966.  Sterling Holloway provided the original voice for the character that was later replaced by Hal Smith and Jim Cummings.

Three animated shorts, Winnie The Pooh and The Honey Tree (1966), Winnie The Pooh And The Blustery Day (1968) and Winnie The Pooh And Tiger Too (1974), were edited together and released as a feature film, The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, in 1977. Televised versions, educational films, additional shorts and feature films, have continued the Pooh legacy into the 21st century.
