Record Comments: This record includes the songs from the films Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros, that were both inspired by Walt Disney's 1941 trip to Latin America. The back cover includes the story of the adventure, along with information on how the songs and movies came to be. The album was later reissued as #WDL-1039.

Prior to this release, the soundtracks to these films were never released as full LPs. Decca Records had only released 10" 78 RPM singles and one singles folder album for each film, making this 12" 33 1/3 RPM format highly sought after by collectors.

There is also one bonus track, mixed amongst the dual-movie collection of tunes that was featured in the 1948 short of the same name, Blame It On The Samba. This short was also inspired by Walt's south of the border trip and was later included in the 1955 feature Melody Time.

The Disney Cast credits noted on each song below include Edward H Plumb & Andrés Chazarreta, Dora Luz, Ernesto Júlio De Nazareth, Quirino Mendoza Y Cortes, Studio Chorus and Zequinha De Abreu. Tracks 3, 4, 6, 9 and 10 are instrumental.

The second film being The Three Caballeros. The film premiered in Rio de Janeiro during August of 1942. The US release came in February of 1943. The running time is approximately 42 minutes.

The first film being Saludos Amigos. The film premiered in Mexico City during December of 1944. The running time is approximately 71 minutes.
