Record Comments:  On this promotional record, the stars and music talent team up for interviews and discussion about the movie.  Side one includes interviews by Dick Tufeld.  Side two is an open-end interview, which provides blank audio space between responses, where anyone can host their own interview by following a script.  The program also includes music clips Step In Time,  Let's Go Fly A Kite, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, ending with an overture.

In an accurate premonition, Dick Van Dyke mentions that the movie will end up on stage at some point.  He says it will be as much a classic as The Wizard of Oz.  The titles of the cuts suggest that there are more interviews in the series.

Matrix Number:  CR-2596 / CR-2599

Subject Notes:  Mary Poppins is a Disney live-action movie with a few animated sequences.  It premiered in theaters during August of 1964.  The running time is approximately 139 minutes.
