Record Comments:  This record includes instrumentals performed on an accordion by Johnny LaPadula.  The record promoted the accordion as a new sound, suitable for romance.  However, a few accordion classics are included to demonstrate Johnny's versatile and polished talent.  The first track, Home, was also released as a single on catalog #F-66.

Subject Notes:  Johnny LaPadula (a.k.a. Johnny Largo,) won the title of Accordion Champion Of The World at the age of 19 which lead to a nation-wide concert tour and appearances on Ed Sullivan and Lawrence Welk.  Later, Johnny became the music director for Optigan.  The name stems from "Optical Organ" which was sort of an adult toy that was originally made by Mattel in the early 1970s that included looped recordings of instrumental accompaniments and rhythm tracks.
