Record Comments:  This one-sided, acetate record was recorded live at Disneyland in 1955 and was available to record and purchase as a theme-park souvenir.  The contents of the record pictured include a single track of dialog and music, featuring park patrons Len, David and Lloyd who answer a few questions from Mickey Mouse and then proceed to sing along with Mickey (even though the record label indicates it's Donald Duck) to The Ballad Of Davy Crockett . 

Several variations of this record exists, since the park guests' own vocals are included on the recording.  The envelope mailer measures just slightly under 7 1/2" square.  The record measures approximately 6".

Subject Notes:  Disneyland first opened in Anaheim, California, on July 17, 1955. A second Disneyland (referred to as Magic Kingdom) was opened near Orlando, Florida, on October 1, 1971.

Additional Disneyland parks were later opened in Tokyo, Japan on April 15, 1983, in Paris, France on April 12, 1992, in Hong Kong on September 12, 2005 and in Shanghai, China on June 16, 2016.
