is the second of the themed albums for Annette. On this one,
Annette sings songs of Hawaii. If
you couldn't guess the Hawaiian theme by the cover, with Annette
laid and dressed in a Hawaiian-print dress while surrounded by
pineapples, her
name is used for the first of her mash-up titles of "Hawaiiannette." The
album includes Annette's last Top 40 hit, Pineapple Princess.
The single reached #11 on 9/5/60, becoming Annette's third
biggest hit. It was on the charts for 9 weeks. Some
record covers include a white label placed on the cover with the text "Includes Pineapple Princess" in a

Annette Funicello was born on October 22, 1942 in Utica, New
York and died on April 8, 2013 in Bakersfield, California.
To Disney fans, Annette is best known as one of the original
Mouseketeers on the Disney television show The Mickey
Mouse Club, that first aired in October of 1955. In
1958, she starred in her own serial, Annette, that
ran for a total of 19 episodes as part of final season of The Mickey Mouse
Club. In the show, Annette played a
young farm girl transitioning to an upper-class neighborhood.
