Record
Comments:
This
second album for Annette Funicello includes a few variations.
The one pictured here may be the first issue. Later issues
include small changes, including a tighter cropped photo on the
back upper left, record sleeves with the opening on the side
instead of the top and no text under photos. The layout of
the other text on the sleeve will also vary. All
issues include a full- color, facsimile autographed photo of
Annette. Some shrink wraps include notation of what's
included printed on the shrink, as seen in the last photo
below. This suggests that the free photo would have been visible
from the back of the album when sealed and not inserted inside. This
is first of themed albums for Annette. This one
capitalizes on her early "Puppy Love" with Paul Anka
(a song Paul wrote about Annette.) Paul is not
only pictured on the cover and record sleeve, he wrote all of
the songs on the album. The record sleeve tells the story
of how they got together. Matrix
